Changes at Persephone!

This week instead of talking about floral symbolism or mythology, I am going to share a little bit about what has been going on behind the scenes here at Persephone.

As you may imagine, starting a business is really exciting but also plain hard work! We could say a lot about the past few months. We’ve learned so much about running a business and gained so much confidence. We’ve met and worked with so many amazing people and we are so grateful all the support!

Something that has been particularly hard to navigate, though, is running a startup business while raising a family. After reflection, Mary Burch has made the amazing decision to step back from Persephone to focus on her family. Fortunately this isn’t goodbye--Mary and I remain fast friends and she will be able freelance on Persephone’s larger events.

While there’s nothing better than working with someone as sweet and talented as Mary Burch, I am so excited for what the future holds for Persephone. Since I will be running things solo, I am going to re-focus the journal posts. I will be posting less often, but hopefully better content. I’ll be revealing more on that later!
