This class will cover the basics of floral care. Topics include:

  • Proper hydration (i.e. how to keep your flowers alive)
  • vase 101
  • "swirl" technique arranging

Learn how to turn a market bouquet similar to one sold at trader joe's and the farmer's markets into a centerpiece for your table. Using locally grown blooms, Mary Simmons (lead designer at Persephone) will demonstrate how you can turn a market bouquet into a centerpiece.  This class is designed for beginners, all tools and flowers will be provided, and of course you get to take home what you make.
